How long have you been with Telcoe?

I've been with Telcoe since March of 1992. That's 24 years!

Why did you choose Telcoe?

I noticed an ad in the newspaper advertising the job, so I applied for it. Today, here I am, still in the original position that I applied for years ago. 

What services do you provide at Telcoe?

I process electronic payments and make sure our computer hardware stays compliant. I help manage the Midtown Branch, and I'm a primary contact for them when all sorts of issues come up. I also provide security training. In recent years, I've become more and more involved with member service. When members' problems are beyond the ordinary, that's when I step in. I've been in the financial industry for a total of 36 years, so I know what to look for and how to solve an awful lot of complicated situations. When people are in an upsetting scenario, I can help calm the waters.

What is the best financial advice you've ever received?

When you get your paycheck every week, pay yourself first for retirement.

Why should everyone use a credit union?

Credit unions are typically more customer-friendly. We look out for the best interests of our members, who are our owners.

What sets Telcoe apart?

Telcoe is personal, friendly, and we're all here in Arkansas. We try to make people feel like they are part of a family, and I truly feel like it's a family. I run into our members at Kroger or the gas station, and I know them as part of the Telcoe family.

I want members to know how to best take advantage of Telcoe for all of their financial needs. We do so much more than people think. They should look at our website and investigate all we have to offer them before choosing a primary financial institution.

What does "local" mean to you?

To me, local means being anywhere that I can reach you. If I can contact you, then you are local to me. Don't let distance stop you from becoming a Telcoe member!

I drive my lifted, topless, doorless Jeep as much as legally and weather-ly possible!

What advice do you have for those looking to join Telcoe?

We can save all of our members money if given the chance!
